Yellow Sun Playschool

Yellow Sun Play school is located at the intersection of the Fairhaven/South Hill/Happy Valley neighborhoods in a beautiful and cozy home with a dedicated school room and office, a big backyard to play in and furry friends in residence too!

Teacher Michelle Rose will be starting off the year as lead teacher and may bring on another teacher on to help as class size grows. Michelle has always had a very natural and easy connection with children and has done extensive self-education in child development and care since having her own child. She is passionate about providing a safe and welcoming environment for children to explore, discover and practice navigating their inner and outer world. She is child CPR/First Aid certified and has completed background/fingerprinting check through the Washington State DYCF.

Class will be for students between the ages of 3-5 and class size will be 6-8 maximum for the 2024/25 school year

Tuesdays 9-12

Wednesdays 9- 12

Thursdays 9-12

First day of school will be Sept 17th.

Registration/Tuition contract is for the entire school year of 2024/25.

Tuition may be paid in full at time of enrollment (4% discount given) or paid monthly in 10 equal installments  from Sept-June. 

Monthly payment is the yearly tuition split into 10 equal payments and does not reflect number of days of school in any given month since they do vary.

Yearly tuition $6250

Pay in full (with 4% discount) - $6000 on first day of school

Pay monthly - $625 on first day of each month

Other Fees- $350 Non-refundable deposit/ supply fee to cover entire school year

After you submit your application, you will be contacted to set up a phone interview and if it seems like a good fit you will be invited to come tour the preschool.

If all goes well and you choose to enroll your child at Yellow Sun, a $350 non-refundable deposit will hold your place and then cover the supply fee for the year.
